New Study Finds One Vitamin May Help Boost Fertility

Researchers studied 53 women with “unexplained infertility” who were being treated with several conventional methods — and added 400 IU of vitamin E to the daily regimen of some of the women. They found that those taking E had a uterine lining (endometrium) that was thicker and more receptive on the day the women received hCG (human chorionic gonadotrophin) for infertility.

“Vitamin E administration may improve the endometrial response in unexplained infertile women via the likely antioxidant and anticoagulant effects,” wrote the researchers, adding, “… the problem of a thin endometrium in these cycles may be adjusted.”
